Treat EV Charging as a Complete Electrical Project
A charging terminal is one part of a wider electrical installation. Coordinating the upstream supply and distribution equipment early helps create a more complete project brief.

Understand the charging use case
Public charging, passenger fleets and heavy-duty vehicles can have different power and operating requirements. Clarify the vehicle types, expected usage and planned number of charging points.
Review the available power supply
Confirm incoming capacity, transformer requirements, low-voltage distribution and the site electrical layout. These requirements should be reviewed alongside the charging equipment.
Select the terminal configuration
Liquid-cooled terminals can support high-power DC applications. Confirm output power, voltage range, power allocation and communication requirements for the selected configuration.
